Taking place June 19-21, a group of 27 female climbers will ascend Mt. Shasta in the Climb Against the Odds. Headed by Alissa Johnson, the group’s goal is to raise $10,000 for Breast Cancer Services Siskiyou County, as well as increase awareness for breast cancer prevention. In its 9th year on Mt. Shasta the event also takes place on Mt. McKinley, Mt. Fuji, and Mt. Rainier.
